Destiny Raid Matchmaking

Ok, I'm sure by now most serious Guardians have whooped Crota's daddy. Being a new daddy of a baby boy, my seriousness as a guardian is seriously in question. I don't really have time to gather all my ole' Destiny buddies together for a raiding party. My question is, what damage would be done to the Destiny experience if matchmaking was introduced to the raids?

Destiny Taken King Swords & Subclasses

The biggest single complaint about the Bungie, Destiny title was, the lack of content. Everyone was exhausted with the raids, Vanguard, and nightfall missions. With the new sub-classes and the sword action, I think the complaints are beginning to fade. Now there are more new missions and quests, than a Naruto manga. Speaking of Naruto, I wish I could add the chidori sound effect to the arc sword, I just got.
